Zentari runs on AWS across three regions, with about forty services on EKS and a deployment pipeline that every product team uses without asking us for help. Keeping it that way is the job.
The build and deploy pipeline, the Terraform that describes our infrastructure, and the observability stack that tells a team their change made things worse. You will spend more time removing the need for a platform ticket than answering platform tickets.
Concretely, the next two quarters include moving the remaining hand-managed resources into Terraform, cutting the median pipeline time from fourteen minutes to under six, and giving every service a dashboard and alert set that its owning team actually understands.
Four or more years running production infrastructure. You should be fluent in at least one cloud, comfortable with Kubernetes beyond the tutorial, and able to write real code rather than only YAML — most of our tooling is Python and Go.
We care about production judgement, not certifications. Tell us about an incident you handled and what you changed afterwards.
Zentari builds workflow software for mid-market manufacturing and logistics companies across India and South-East Asia. The product began in 2018 as an internal tool for a single Pune factory and now runs scheduling, quality checks and dispatch for a few hundred plants.
Engineering is organised into small, durable teams that own a slice of the product from database to interface. There is no separate maintenance team and no ticket queue between design and build. The engineer who ships a feature also answers for it when it misbehaves at 6am.
We are remote-friendly with a hub in Indiranagar, Bengaluru. Most teams meet in person for one week a quarter and work asynchronously the rest of the time.
