Where you'll be plugged in
Three of our services moved to Azure Container Apps last quarter. The fourth, our resume parsing worker, still sits on a virtual machine somebody provisioned in 2023 and nobody has touched since. Moving it is the anchor project of this six-month internship. You will containerise the worker, connect it to Azure Service Bus, and get it deploying through GitHub Actions without a human ever opening the portal.
The rest of the work
Between milestones on that migration you will build health check endpoints, add structured Serilog logging so our Application Insights queries stop returning noise, and write the Bicep templates for a repeatable staging environment. You will sit with the platform engineer two afternoons a week in our Hyderabad office and work wherever you like the rest of the time.
Fit
We hire final year students and fresh graduates into this seat, every single term. What matters is that you have already deployed something, anything, to a cloud provider on your own and can still remember what went wrong the first time. A certification is not required and does not substitute for having actually done it.
