About the job

About Apt

Apt is an AI-native workplace where people build professional capability by doing realistic professional work.

What you'll own

Your job is simple: Get the right organizations interested in Apt, turn that interest into serious commercial intent, and turn it into revenue.

In practice, that means securing:

  • Letters of Intent (LOIs)
  • Pilot commitments
  • Pre-launch commercial commitments
  • Paying customers

How you get there is largely yours to figure out. The outcome matters. We reward commercial results, not activity for activity's sake.

What matters

We care about clear ROI: Qualified organization -> serious interest -> LOI / design partnership -> pilot -> revenue.

Not: Number of emails sent, calls booked, hours spent prospecting, activity reports, or following a prescribed process.

Who we're looking for

You should be comfortable:

  • Selling high-value or complex products
  • Speaking directly with decision-makers
  • Selling an emerging category
  • Discovering problems rather than relying on a fixed pitch
  • Handling objections, negotiating, and closing
  • Demonstrating clear ROI
  • Working independently and experimenting quickly
  • Operating without a large sales organization behind you

Experience in B2B SaaS, HR tech, talent/recruiting, EdTech, or professional development is valuable, but proven ability to create commercial outcomes matters more.

The immediate objective

Apt is pre-launch. We are not looking for someone to sell thousands of subscriptions tomorrow.

We need you to bring qualified organizations into the pipeline. Turn interest into commitment. Turn commitment into revenue.

Salary: $60k - $110k Equity: No equity
