Platform is the team the other teams depend on. When a product engineer here adds a feature, they build it on libraries, pipelines and service templates that we maintain.

What six months on platform looks like

You will start by owning our internal Maven archetype, the starter every new service is generated from. It has drifted badly: three services now patch the same logging configuration by hand. You will fold that back into the archetype, finish its move to Java 17, and write the README explaining the choices. From there you take on the shared library wrapping our REST clients, adding timeout, retry and circuit-breaker defaults so one slow dependency cannot drag down its callers.

Review culture and ownership

Platform changes land in everyone's build, so review here is thorough and occasionally uncomfortable. You will defend a decision, adjust it, and ship it. Around month four you will find yourself answering other engineers' questions in the platform channel, which is when this internship starts paying you back.

Who should apply

Final-year students or recent graduates in or moving to Delhi NCR, comfortable with Java and Maven, and genuinely interested in the unglamorous infrastructure that makes other people fast. Three days in office, two at home.
