A question nobody has answered
Why do 62 percent of candidates who open a job posting on mobile never reach the apply button? Product has three theories and no evidence. You will spend three months in Hyderabad, hybrid from our HITEC City desks, gathering that evidence and answering a dozen questions like it.
Scope of the internship
You work inside the product pod alongside two engineers and a designer. An instrumentation review comes first, checking which events our analytics tooling actually captures and which ones quietly lie. Then you build cohort and retention analyses in Python, define the activation metric for new employers, and support the search team with before and after readouts on ranking experiments. Roughly half your week goes on SQL and half in notebooks.
What will make you good at this
An eye for the question behind the question. Product managers will ask you for a number when what they really want is a decision, and the useful interns learn to spot the difference quickly. You do not need previous employment. You should be able to hold an opinion and then defend it with a chart.
