Two months, one very messy workbook
Our employer success team runs on a forty tab Excel workbook that three people are afraid to touch. You will be the one who finally rebuilds it. This internship runs two months from our Andheri office, with two days on site each week and the rest of your time arranged around classes.
What rebuilding looks like
You will map every formula and manual step in the current file, then rebuild it with clean input sheets, named ranges and Power Query refreshes instead of copy paste. Along the way you produce the monthly employer health report, chase down accounts that have stopped posting jobs, and prepare the renewal list the sales team works from. If the workbook behaves by week six, you move on to recreating two of its views in Metabase.
Suited to
Someone on a commerce, finance or statistics course who is genuinely fast in a spreadsheet and does not mind detail work. This is an unpaid internship, so we keep the hours light and the learning dense. No prior employment is needed, and nobody here will ask you to fetch coffee.
Responsibilities
- Document every formula, manual step and dependency in the current employer success workbook
- Rebuild the workbook with clean input sheets, named ranges and Power Query refreshes
- Produce the monthly employer health report for the success team
- Identify and list employer accounts that have stopped posting jobs
- Prepare the renewal pipeline sheet the sales team uses each month
- Recreate two key workbook views as Metabase dashboards
Requirements
- Final year student or recent graduate in commerce, finance, statistics or a similar subject
- Strong Excel skills including pivot tables, INDEX MATCH and conditional formatting
- Attention to detail and patience with repetitive validation work
- Curiosity about Power Query or SQL even if you have never used them
- Able to reach our Andheri office twice a week
