Worldwide Remote Prompt Engineering Internship
Two months is short, so this internship is scoped tightly around one thing: the prompt library behind our automated outreach campaigns.
The scope of the work
MailerMen sends email sequences on behalf of small recruitment teams, and every sequence comes from a template plus a prompt. You will take the thirty or so prompts in that library, test them against a fixed set of real company profiles, and rebuild the ones producing generic copy. Personalisation is the metric that matters. Does the email mention something true and specific about the recipient's company, or does it read like it went to a list of five thousand people?
Who this format suits
Applications are open worldwide and the work is fully asynchronous, so your location is genuinely up to you. There are no daily standups. You get a written brief on Monday, post progress in a shared channel through the week, and review with your mentor on Friday.
By week eight
You will have shipped a measurably better prompt library and written the internal guide explaining how anyone else should extend it.
Responsibilities
- Audit the existing campaign prompt library and score each prompt for personalisation quality
- Rewrite underperforming prompts and test them against a fixed set of company profiles
- Build a lightweight rubric that separates specific copy from generic copy
- Track prompt versions and their measured output quality in a shared workspace
- Write the internal guide explaining how new campaign prompts should be structured
- Post a written progress update in the team channel at least three times a week
Requirements
- Student or recent graduate anywhere in the world, with no prior job experience needed
- Strong written English and a feel for marketing copy that does not sound automated
- Basic scripting ability in Python, or the willingness to pick it up in week one
- Self directed enough to work an asynchronous week without daily supervision
Skills
Benefits
- Monthly stipend paid in INR, open to applicants in any country
- Fully asynchronous work with no fixed hours and no daily calls
