The audit and what follows it
You begin with a full WCAG 2.2 AA audit of the MailerMen application flow, from search to submitted. You will test with NVDA and VoiceOver, check every interactive element for keyboard reachability, and measure contrast across the entire colour palette rather than the three swatches people usually check. The output is a prioritised issue list with a screenshot, a severity and a proposed fix for each entry.
Then you design the fixes. Focus states for the whole component library, an accessible date picker to replace the one we regret, form error patterns that announce properly, and guidelines a designer joining next year can actually follow.
Practical details
Two days a week in our Delhi NCR office, the rest remote. You will pair with a frontend engineer on implementation so your fixes ship rather than sit in a document. This position is unpaid. In exchange you get a specialism most freshers do not have, a public audit writeup with your name on it, and a mentor who reviews your work every week.
Responsibilities
- Run a WCAG 2.2 AA audit across the full application flow and record every issue with a severity

- Measure contrast across the entire palette and propose compliant replacements
- Design focus and state styles for the whole component library
- Redesign the date picker and form error patterns so they announce correctly
- Pair with a frontend engineer to see fixes through to production
- Write accessibility guidelines a future designer can follow without training
Requirements
- Final year student or recent graduate with an interest in inclusive design
- Familiar with WCAG success criteria at least at a reading level
- Willing to learn a screen reader properly, and we will give you time for it
- Comfortable writing clear issue reports with screenshots and reproduction steps
- Available two days a week in the Delhi NCR office
