A page nobody likes
The employer billing screen is the ugliest surface we own. It is a Razor view from an earlier era, it posts back for every filter change, and finance exports the data to a spreadsheet anyway. Rebuilding it in Blazor is your project for these three months.
Scope of the project
You will design the component tree with our front end lead and then build it: an invoice list with server side paging, an inline credit note editor, and a CSV export that streams instead of buffering an entire result set into memory. Behind the screen you write the ASP.NET Core minimal API endpoints and the Entity Framework Core queries feeding the grid. The two person finance team sits in on your demos and will tell you plainly what still does not work.

Responsibilities
- Rebuild the employer billing page as a Blazor Server component tree
- Implement server side paging, sorting and filtering against the invoice tables
- Build a streaming CSV export endpoint that avoids loading full result sets into memory
- Write the minimal API endpoints and EF Core queries behind the new screen
- Demo progress to the finance team every two weeks and act on their feedback
- Add bUnit and xUnit coverage for the components and endpoints you write
Requirements
- Final year student or recent graduate, based anywhere in the world
- Comfortable with C# and with HTML and CSS fundamentals
- Some exposure to a component based UI framework, in any language
- Strong written English and the discipline to post a daily async update
- Prior job experience is neither expected nor required
