About the role

EliseAI is transforming housing and healthcare through best-in-class conversational AI. As we scale, it's critical that employees, clients, and partners deeply understand how our platform works - and how to use it to drive real outcomes. As an Instructional Designer at EliseAI, you'll design high-impact learning experiences that support functional onboarding, product education, and performance enablement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop instructional content for onboarding, internal enablement, and product education
  • Partner with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams for requirements and co-creation
  • Write scripts for training videos, product walkthroughs, demos, and educational content
  • Translate complex workflows and product features into clear, actionable learning experiences
  • Create interactive guides, video explainers, motion graphics, and live training materials
  • Leverage Figma for design, prototypes, and learning templates
  • Use motion and visual storytelling for memorable concept delivery
  • Conduct needs assessments, learner research, and usability testing
  • Establish frameworks, templates, and systems to accelerate content creation
  • Audit and iterate content for accessibility, usability, and alignment

Requirements

  • 3+ years instructional design, learning experience design, or enablement in SaaS/tech
  • Understanding of adult learning principles and performance-based learning
  • Proficiency in Figma
  • Experience with e-learning and motion design tools (Articulate 360, Camtasia, After Effects, Premiere Pro)
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into intuitive learning assets
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills
  • Autonomous work and multitasking in fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG), SCORM/xAPI, and learner feedback loops

Bonus qualifications

  • Degree in Instructional Design, Interaction Design, or HCI
  • B2B SaaS education/onboarding experience
  • Motion, interaction, or visual storytelling background
  • LMS platform experience (Skilljar, Lessonly, WorkRamp)
  • Knowledge of Kirkpatrick or Bloom's Taxonomy
