Short, sharp, two months
This is a two month build sprint around a single idea: a tool that turns a founder's three line role sketch into a complete, non generic job listing that a candidate would actually read to the end.
What sits on your plate
You design the prompt chain, build a small evaluation set of strong and weak listings scored by our editorial team, and measure whether your generations beat the template the site uses today. Structured output, schema validation and a retry path for malformed responses are part of the job rather than an afterthought. You also take on deduplication, since ten generated listings sharing an opening sentence are worse than none at all. Expect to read a great deal of model output and to develop firm opinions about it.
The terms
Bengaluru based, three days a week in the office, sitting with the applied AI team. The position is unpaid. What you leave with is a working user facing feature, a certificate, and a recommendation letter from the engineer who reviewed your code. Final year students and recent graduates, with no experience needed beyond having built something with an LLM API because you wanted to.
Responsibilities
- Design the prompt chain that expands a three line role sketch into a full listing
- Build an evaluation set of strong and weak listings scored by the editorial team
- Enforce structured output with schema validation and a retry path for malformed responses
- Measure generated listings against the current template on both quality and uniqueness
- Add near duplicate detection so generated openings never repeat across listings
- Read model output daily and turn your observations into concrete prompt changes
Requirements
- Final year student or recent graduate, no professional experience required
- Python plus something you have already built with an LLM API
- Willingness to read large volumes of model output critically
- Available for two months with three days a week in Bengaluru
