About the role

Peregrine Remote is hiring a product manager on a fully remote basis. You will own a slice of the product with a small team, real customers and incomplete information. The job is deciding what not to build as much as what to build, and being able to explain both to the people affected.

We hire anywhere and pay one global band in US dollars rather than discounting by country, because the work is the same wherever it is done. Contracts are arranged through a local employer of record where we cannot employ you directly.

What the work actually looks like

Expect customer conversations, writing that sharpens a fuzzy problem into a shippable one, and the metrics work that tells you whether the last thing helped. You will sit with engineering during build rather than reappearing at the demo. The role is fully remote and we hire from anywhere the overlap window works.

What we look for

This is a senior individual-contributor role. You will be expected to push back on requirements that do not make sense and to set the technical direction for your part of the product. We are looking for prioritisation under pressure, metrics literacy and the willingness to kill your own idea when the evidence says so. A technical background helps, but clear writing helps more.

Working at Peregrine Remote

The team is asynchronous by default: decisions are written down, the meeting load is low, and we ask only for a four-hour overlap with Central European Time. The range shown is the annual gross salary band for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Own the roadmap and the trade-offs behind it for your area
  • Talk to customers regularly and bring what you learn back as written problems

  • Communicate decisions and their reasoning across the company

Requirements

  • Experience owning a product area end to end
  • Comfortable with data — you can pull your own numbers
  • Excellent written communication, especially for hard trade-offs
  • Able to decide with incomplete information and revisit later
  • Genuine curiosity about the domain and its customers
