Right now our prompts live in three places: a Python file, a Google Doc, and somebody's head.
Making prompt changes behave like code
The point of this three month role is to fix exactly that. You will move every production prompt into a versioned store, give each one a metadata schema, tag them by owner and model, and build the diff view that shows what actually changed between version four and version five. Then you will add the CI step that blocks a merge when a prompt edit drops the eval score below its baseline. Along the way you will pick up Git workflows, a little GitHub Actions, YAML wrangling, and the discipline of writing a changelog entry a future colleague can use. You will also learn how to tell a teammate no when they want to hotfix a prompt into production on a Friday evening.

The team is based in Delhi NCR with two office days a week and the rest from home. You get a mentor from the platform team and a standing half hour every Wednesday to ask anything, including the questions you assume are too basic.
