Join MailerMen as a Backend Developer in Pune. You will build reliable APIs, services and database-driven features, working closely with frontend developers and product teams to deliver secure, scalable backend systems. With one year of experience behind you, you'll contribute directly to production systems from your first sprint. The position is onsite at our Pune office, offering close collaboration with the local team.
Department: Engineering - Backend Working hours: 10:00 AM–7:00 PM IST, Monday–Friday
Responsibilities
- Design database schemas, queries and data-access logic.
- Optimize slow database queries and API response times.
- Debug production issues and improve application performance.
- Contribute to API documentation and internal developer guides.
- Develop and maintain REST APIs and backend services.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
- Write clean, maintainable and tested backend code.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or a related technical field preferred.
- Good to have: Prisma, Docker, GraphQL, RabbitMQ, Redis, Nginx
