Content Marketing Internship (Blog + Newsletter)
Why we publish at all
Long-form content is how MailerMen earns attention without buying it. The weekly newsletter reaches a growing list of early career readers, and the blog underneath it does the ranking work. You contribute to both across a three month stint.
Your remit
You own one newsletter edition a fortnight from idea to send, which means finding a story worth telling, interviewing a hiring manager or a recent intern, writing it up, and choosing the three links that sit underneath. On the blog side you turn our internal data, things like which roles attract the most applications and how long a fresher search really takes, into pieces other people want to cite. Repurposing is part of the brief, so a good essay should leave you with a thread, three quote cards and a newsletter section.
Practical notes
This one is open worldwide and runs fully asynchronously, so it suits you if you can write without anyone standing behind you. It is an unpaid position with weekly editorial feedback, and you keep full byline credit on everything you publish, including the pieces that outlive the internship.
