We are seeking a Data Engineer at MailerMen (Ahmedabad). You will build dependable data pipelines and data-processing systems that support product decisions and operational reporting. You will start with guided tasks and gradually take ownership of features under senior mentorship. The position is onsite at our Ahmedabad office, offering close collaboration with the local team.
Department: Engineering - Data Working hours: 10:00 AM–7:00 PM IST, Monday–Friday
Responsibilities
- Monitor pipeline quality, failures and data consistency.
- Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Assist in migrating legacy data jobs to modern tooling.
- Set up data validation and quality checks in pipelines.
- Design data models and maintain reliable datasets.
- Write efficient SQL for data transformation and analysis.
- Integrate data from APIs, databases and application systems.
- Learn team tools, coding standards and delivery processes with mentor support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, IT, Mathematics or related field preferred.
- Good to have: Kafka, Databricks, dbt, Apache Spark, Snowflake, Docker
