The role
Typed React is not optional here. This six-month internship puts you inside the team that owns MailerMen's employer dashboard, a TypeScript codebase of roughly forty thousand lines where every prop, hook return and API response is typed end to end.
Your first quarter
You begin by migrating three legacy JavaScript modules to TypeScript, which turns out to be the fastest way to learn how data actually moves through the app. After that you own the job posting wizard: a five-step form with conditional fields, autosave and validation shared between client and server through a single Zod schema. Expect to meet generics, discriminated unions and a few genuinely gnarly useReducer cases.
Your second quarter
The back half is yours to shape. Previous interns have built a keyboard-first candidate search, an internal component playground, and a bulk editing table with optimistic updates. You pitch the idea, scope it with your mentor, and ship it.
You will be in the Koramangala office three days a week and remote the other two. Bring curiosity about type systems and a willingness to read the documentation before asking. We will handle the rest.
