What you will work on
MailerMen's campaign builder is the screen our customers spend most of their working day inside, and over the next three months you will help rebuild it. Your first ticket is the recipient segment picker, a React component that has grown to nine hundred lines and badly needs splitting into something maintainable. From there you move to the template gallery, drag and drop reordering of email blocks, and the live preview pane that renders a campaign at desktop, tablet and mobile widths.
How the team works
You sit in a squad of four with a senior frontend engineer as your reviewer. Every pull request gets read line by line, and you are expected to push back when a review comment does not make sense to you. Standups are fifteen minutes, written and asynchronous, which leaves long stretches of quiet building time.
What you take away
By the end you will have shipped components that thousands of marketers touch weekly, learned to profile a slow React tree in the Profiler tab, and built the habit of writing components someone else can still read six months later. The role is fully remote across India, and we will sort out hardware if your machine cannot run the dev environment.
Responsibilities

- Build drag and drop reordering for email blocks inside the template editor
- Implement the live preview pane that renders campaigns at desktop, tablet and mobile widths
- Close the accessibility gaps our axe audit flagged across the campaign flow
- Profile slow renders with React DevTools and remove unnecessary re-render work
- Review one teammate's pull request each week and leave at least one substantive comment

- Final-year student or recent graduate in any discipline
- Comfortable with React function components, hooks and conditional rendering
- Able to read and modify someone else's JavaScript without rewriting it from scratch
- Basic Git workflow: branches, commits and pull requests
