Shipping should be boring, and right now ours is not. Releases happen when somebody remembers to run a script, and this three month remote internship exists to turn that ritual into a pipeline.
What you will change
You will build the release workflow end to end: semantic version tagging on merge, changelog generation from commit messages, container images pushed to our registry with immutable tags, and a rollback that takes one command rather than a panicked Slack thread. You will also add a smoke test stage so a broken build never reaches staging in the first place. Every pull request you open is reviewed by a mentor who explains the reasoning, not just the verdict.
The honest terms
This position is unpaid, and we keep it that way because the schedule is loose. Around twelve to fifteen hours a week, set around your classes, remote from anywhere in India. What you need is confidence with Git branching and merging, some Docker familiarity, and the patience to read documentation before asking. Final year students and recent graduates only, and no prior job history is expected. By the end, every service we run will ship through something you built, which is a rare sentence to write after three months.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Final year student or recent graduate, with no job history required
- Confident with Git branching, merging and resolving conflicts
- Familiar with building and running Docker images locally
- Reads documentation carefully before asking for help
