MailerMen has an opening for a Generative AI / LLM Engineer based out of Hyderabad. You will develop AI-powered product features using large language models, covering prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, evaluation, AI workflows and API integrations. This is an entry-level role suited to recent graduates who are eager to learn and grow with structured mentorship. This is a hybrid role anchored to our Hyderabad office, with a mix of in-office and remote days.
Department: Engineering - Generative AI Working hours: 10:00 AM–7:00 PM IST, Monday–Friday
Responsibilities
- Benchmark model providers on quality, latency and cost.
- Develop LLM-powered features for web and business applications.
- Design prompts and evaluation workflows for reliable AI outputs.
- Implement guardrails and safe-output handling for AI features.
- Integrate commercial and open-source model APIs.
- Create AI agents and workflow automations where appropriate.
- Evaluate model quality, latency, cost and reliability.
- Learn team tools, coding standards and delivery processes with mentor support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, IT or related field preferred.
- Good to have: Vector Databases, RAG, Streamlit, FastAPI, Docker, Pinecone
