Anyone can make a screen work once. The harder skill, and the one this job leans on, is writing JavaScript that still reads clearly to somebody else months later. It shows up in ordinary decisions: naming things for what they are, keeping a component to a single job, and splitting a change small enough that a reviewer can hold all of it in their head at once.
Reviews run in both directions. Your work gets read closely, and you are expected to read other people's with the same attention, which is a skill in its own right. The level suits two to four years of professional experience, ideally someone who has already formed views on what maintainable code looks like and can put them in a comment without turning the thread into a standoff.
MailerMen builds and operates its own product, so the team lives with whatever it ships; a shortcut is never somebody else's problem later. It is a full-time onsite job, based in Indore, and a reasonable place to land for anyone who has been quietly frustrated by a codebase nobody was ever given time to tidy.
MailerMen runs a verified job board covering startup and product roles across twelve markets, and takes on interns across engineering, data, design and marketing to build it.
