MailerMen is hiring a Generative AI / LLM Engineer for our Bhubaneswar team. You will develop AI-powered product features using large language models, covering prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, evaluation, AI workflows and API integrations. You should have roughly one year of practical experience and be comfortable working in a collaborative product team. The position is onsite at our Bhubaneswar office, offering close collaboration with the local team.
Department: Engineering - Generative AI Working hours: 10:00 AM–7:00 PM IST, Monday–Friday
Responsibilities
- Integrate commercial and open-source model APIs.
- Create AI agents and workflow automations where appropriate.
- Benchmark model providers on quality, latency and cost.
- Design prompts and evaluation workflows for reliable AI outputs.
- Develop LLM-powered features for web and business applications.
- Prototype agentic workflows for internal automation.
- Work with frontend and backend teams to ship AI features.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, IT or related field preferred.
- Good to have: RAG, LangChain, Azure OpenAI, Vector Databases, Pinecone, Streamlit
