The bulk of this job is the build itself. You take a ticket, work out what it actually means on screen, and turn it into something that behaves properly in a browser: modern JavaScript written against live product surfaces, interfaces wired to data that already exists, and components left tidy enough that the next person can change them without a walkthrough. It is hands-on from the start.
Onsite and full-time in Noida, the opening is pitched at roughly two to four years of professional experience. Far enough along to be productive without hand-holding, early enough that there is plenty of road ahead. Nobody will hand you a rigid spec and ask you to type it out; you will be asked what you think, and expected to have a view.
MailerMen runs a small product and engineering team, so the scope is wide and there is very little sitting between a question and an answer. What you push becomes visible quickly, and nobody has to file a request to talk to the person who owns the other half of a feature.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain modern web applications using JavaScript.
- Build reusable and maintainable application components.
- Integrate REST APIs and third-party services.
- Optimize application performance and responsiveness.
- Debug and resolve application issues.
- Write clean, scalable, and reusable code.
- Participate in code reviews.
- Collaborate with frontend, backend, design, QA, and product teams.
- Implement new features based on product requirements.
- Follow modern software development and coding practices.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of professional JavaScript development experience.
- Strong knowledge of modern JavaScript and ES6+.
- Good understanding of HTML and CSS.
- Experience working with REST APIs.
- Good knowledge of asynchronous JavaScript.
- Experience with Git/GitHub.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of responsive web development.
