Two to four years in, most infrastructure engineers have touched a pipeline, a Dockerfile and a cloud console, but rarely all of it end to end. This role is a chance to close that gap: to own CI/CD and deployment automation properly, work across Linux and containerized environments, and grow into cloud infrastructure and monitoring with real production systems as the teacher.
The work is practical from the first week. You will maintain and improve the pipelines that move code to production, script away manual steps, help developers get releases out with less friction, and dig into deployment problems until the root cause is clear. Nobody hands you a finished playbook, which is precisely where the learning is.
