MailerMen is hiring a Data Scientist for our Bhubaneswar team. You will turn product and business data into useful insights and predictive models through exploratory analysis, statistics and machine learning. We expect around two years of professional experience and the ability to work independently on well-scoped problems. This is a hybrid role anchored to our Bhubaneswar office, with a mix of in-office and remote days.
Department: Data & Analytics Working hours: 10:00 AM–7:00 PM IST, Monday–Friday
Responsibilities
- Document analytical methods, assumptions and results.
- Analyze structured datasets to identify trends and opportunities.
- Validate model performance and investigate data quality issues.
- Design metrics and dashboards for product teams.
- Run experiment analysis and significance testing.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to productionize useful models.
- Create clear reports and visualizations for stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related field preferred.
- Good to have: scikit-learn, Jupyter, LightGBM, Power BI, Airflow, Looker
