SAP S/4HANA PP

MailerMen is hiring an experienced SAP S/4HANA Production Planning Consultant to support manufacturing operations, production planning, SAP implementation, rollout, stabilization, and ongoing business process improvement.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on SAP PP experience, manufacturing process knowledge, Variant Configuration expertise, and a solid understanding of PP–CO integration.

Key Responsibilities

SAP PP Functional Activities

• Act as a business-facing SAP PP consultant for manufacturing operations.
• Collaborate with production planners, plant managers, and business users.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Support end-to-end SAP S/4HANA PP implementation, rollout, and production support.
• Configure BOMs, routings, work centers, production versions, and capacity planning.
• Manage Demand Management, MRP, MRP Live, and auto-replenishment strategies.

Variant Configuration

• Configure and support characteristics, classes, and dependencies.
• Work with Super BOMs and Super Routings.
• Support complex manufacturing and product-configuration requirements.

PP–CO Integration

• Ensure seamless integration between Production Planning and Controlling.
• Support production order costing.
• Assist with variance analysis and settlement processes.
• Coordinate with CO, MM, SD, QM, PM, and other cross-functional teams.

Testing, Go-Live, and Support

• Support UAT, go-live, hypercare, and ongoing manufacturing operations.
• Troubleshoot production and planning issues.
• Provide functional guidance and end-user training.
• Prepare process documentation, SOPs, and training materials.

Business Collaboration

• Work closely with shop-floor users and manufacturing stakeholders.
• Understand plant operations and production planning challenges.
• Provide business-focused solutions to operational issues.
• Act as a trusted advisor to manufacturing and supply-chain teams.

Mandatory Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on SAP PP experience in manufacturing environments
• Minimum 3+ years of SAP S/4HANA experience
• At least one complete SAP S/4HANA implementation
• Strong hands-on Variant Configuration experience
• Strong understanding of PP–CO integration
• Excellent manufacturing process knowledge
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Good to Have

• Experience with RISE with SAP or SAP S/4HANA Cloud projects
• Exposure to SAP Fiori manufacturing applications
• SAP PP certification
• Experience in hypercare and production stabilization
