Research at MailerMen is currently one spreadsheet and a lot of guessing. This two month internship exists to change that, and it suits someone who genuinely enjoys asking strangers about their problems.
You will run the first structured discovery round on recruiters who post to our board. That means writing the screener, recruiting fifteen participants, moderating the sessions over video, and turning six hours of messy transcript into findings a product manager can act on. You will build the research repository in Notion, tag insights so they are still searchable in a year, and run two usability tests on the job posting form, which we suspect is where most drop off happens.
You sit with the product team in our Pune office three days a week and work from home the rest. Every session you moderate gets debriefed within a day, while it is still fresh. Nothing here is shadowing. You own the study from question to readout, and you present the readout yourself.
This internship is unpaid and we say so plainly upfront. What you leave with is a complete research study you ran end to end, plus a repository that stays in use after you go.
MailerMen runs a verified job board covering startup and product roles across twelve markets, and takes on interns across engineering, data, design and marketing to build it.
