Half the confusion in a product is a labelling problem wearing a layout costume. If you are the sort of person who rewrites bad error messages for fun, keep reading.
You will own the microcopy across the MailerMen application flow. First job: the eighty odd error and empty states scattered through the app, most of which say something unhelpful about an unexpected error. You will rewrite each with a real cause and a real next step, then fold the patterns into the Figma component library so nobody reinvents them.
After that you write the onboarding sequence for new recruiters, settle the features that currently have three names each, and produce a short content style guide covering voice, sentence case rules, Indian English spellings, and how we talk about pay without overpromising.
This internship is unpaid and remote, open to students anywhere in India, and runs two months at roughly twenty five hours a week. You get twice weekly reviews with a senior content designer, your copy live in front of a large audience, and a style guide with your name in the changelog. Bring writing samples in any form. A blog, fan fiction and lab reports all tell us something.
MailerMen runs a verified job board covering startup and product roles across twelve markets, and takes on interns across engineering, data, design and marketing to build it.
