Turning a product requirement into something people can actually use is the core of this job. Requirements arrive as a problem statement or a rough ask, and you take them through user flows, wireframes, an interactive prototype that can be clicked through and argued over, and finally the high-fidelity screens engineering builds from.
The role sits full-time and onsite in Bengaluru with MailerMen's product team. Because the team is small, a designer owns features rather than fragments: you are in the conversation while scope is being decided, you make the interface calls, and you watch the result go live on a job board that startups and candidates use.
Two to four years of UI/UX or product design experience is the right level, along with real fluency in Figma across prototyping, components and handoff, and the confidence to ask why something is being built before you design it.
Responsibilities
- Create wireframes and user flows.
- Design high-fidelity web and application interfaces.
- Create interactive prototypes in Figma.
- Develop reusable design components.
- Maintain design systems.
- Design responsive interfaces for desktop, tablet, and mobile.
- Translate product requirements into user-friendly designs.
- Collaborate with developers during implementation.
- Provide developer-ready design handoffs.
- Review implemented designs and provide visual feedback.
- Research and apply modern UI/UX design practices.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of professional UI/UX or product design experience.
- Strong hands-on Figma experience.
- Strong understanding of typography, spacing, layout, and visual hierarchy.
- Experience with wireframing and prototyping.
- Understanding of responsive design.
- Experience creating design systems and reusable components.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
