Screens are the easy part. The same screen at three widths is where the work actually is, and anyone joining this team spends real time deciding what a layout stacks, drops or hides between desktop, tablet and phone, then prototyping it clearly enough that nobody has to guess during development.
MailerMen runs a verified job board for startup and product roles, and its users do not all arrive on the same device. A laptop at a desk and a phone in between other things are both normal, and a layout that only holds together at one breakpoint will not survive that. Responsiveness is treated as part of the brief here, not a cleanup pass at the end of it.
The position is full-time and onsite in Indore. The team is hiring at two to four years of professional design experience, with strong hands-on Figma skills and the patience to sweat details most people only notice when they are wrong.
Responsibilities
- Create wireframes and user flows.
- Design high-fidelity web and application interfaces.
- Create interactive prototypes in Figma.
- Develop reusable design components.
- Maintain design systems.
- Design responsive interfaces for desktop, tablet, and mobile.
- Translate product requirements into user-friendly designs.
- Collaborate with developers during implementation.
- Provide developer-ready design handoffs.
- Review implemented designs and provide visual feedback.
- Research and apply modern UI/UX design practices.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of professional UI/UX or product design experience.
- Strong hands-on Figma experience.
- Strong understanding of typography, spacing, layout, and visual hierarchy.
- Experience with wireframing and prototyping.
- Understanding of responsive design.
- Experience creating design systems and reusable components.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
