.NET 8 Public API Engineering Internship

Two months is short. We have shaped this internship around a single deliverable so that you leave with one finished thing rather than three half built ones.

The deliverable

MailerMen exposes a public jobs API that partner sites use to syndicate our listings. It has no versioning story, no rate limiting, and documentation that drifted out of date last spring. You will fix all three. Concretely: introduce URL based versioning behind an ASP.NET Core API version convention, add a fixed window rate limiter keyed on the partner API key, and generate OpenAPI documents straight from the code so the docs cannot silently drift again. A partner integration guide written in your own words is part of the scope, not an afterthought.

The arrangement

This is an unpaid position and we put that near the top on purpose. You work from the Delhi NCR office two days a week, sitting beside the API team, and every change you propose goes through the same design review a full time engineer would face. Nothing gets waved through because you are an intern, and nothing gets dismissed for that reason either.
