Employers pay MailerMen to post featured listings, and that money moves through a Razorpay integration written in C#. When it breaks, someone has paid us and received nothing, which is the one class of bug we treat as urgent at any hour of the night. You will work on that integration for two months.
Webhook handling is the piece needing attention. Razorpay retries aggressively and our handler is not idempotent, so a repeated capture event can credit an employer account twice. You will add an event ledger keyed on the provider event identifier, make every handler safe to run more than once, and build a reconciliation job that compares our ledger against the provider settlement report each morning and flags anything that fails to match.
You will not be handed production access on day one and you will never deploy alone. Every change ships behind a review from the payments team and a staging run against sandbox credentials. Expect a lot of questions about edge cases during review, because edge cases are exactly where payment bugs live. Two days a week in the Bengaluru office, three from home.
MailerMen runs a verified job board covering startup and product roles across twelve markets, and takes on interns across engineering, data, design and marketing to build it.
