We are seeking a Backend Developer at MailerMen (Hyderabad). You will build reliable APIs, services and database-driven features, working closely with frontend developers and product teams to deliver secure, scalable backend systems. This role suits an early-career engineer with about a year of hands-on experience who wants to take on more ownership. This is a hybrid role anchored to our Hyderabad office, with a mix of in-office and remote days.
Department: Engineering - Backend Working hours: 10:00 AM–7:00 PM IST, Monday–Friday
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain REST APIs and backend services.
- Optimize slow database queries and API response times.
- Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
- Write unit and integration tests for backend services.
- Write clean, maintainable and tested backend code.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
- Design database schemas, queries and data-access logic.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or a related technical field preferred.
- Good to have: Docker, NestJS, Express.js, GraphQL, RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL
