Salesforce Conga Developer

MailerMen is hiring a Salesforce Conga Developer to build and support document automation on the Salesforce platform. Conga Composer is an application that runs inside Salesforce and produces finished documents such as quotes, contracts, proposals and statements by reading live data from Salesforce records and merging it into a prepared template, so the file a user downloads or sends always reflects what the record actually holds. The role covers that work from end to end, from the templates and the queries that feed them through to the Salesforce code and configuration underneath.
You will design and implement complete solutions using Conga Composer within Salesforce, which in practice means building and maintaining three connected pieces: the Conga templates that define how a document looks, the Conga queries that decide which records and fields are pulled into it, and the Composer buttons that let a user generate the document from a Salesforce record. You will also integrate Conga E-Signature, the companion product that sends a generated document out for electronic signature and writes the outcome back to the record, so that a document can be produced, signed and filed through a secure automated workflow rather than by hand.
The Salesforce development side of the role is equally hands-on. You will develop and customise Apex, which is Salesforce's server-side programming language, Lightning Web Components (LWC), the framework used to build the screens people work in, and Flows, the point-and-click automation tool, together with Custom Metadata, which holds configuration as records so that settings move cleanly between environments instead of being hard-coded. You will work with stakeholders to gather and document functional requirements, test what you build, deploy it and support it after go-live, keeping the Salesforce and Conga integration scalable, maintainable and in line with platform best practice.
This is a contract engagement of three months with the possibility of extension, on a project that is expected to run long term, worked remotely from anywhere in India. Compensation is ₹1,20,000 per month. Working hours are 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM IST. The role calls for 5+ years of experience. Immediate joiners are preferred. Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end document automation solutions using Conga Composer within Salesforce.
- Create and manage Conga templates, Conga queries and Composer buttons based on documented business requirements.
- Integrate Conga E-Signature with Salesforce so that documents can be sent for signature and returned through secure, automated signing workflows.
- Build, configure and maintain the integration between Salesforce and the Conga tools.
- Develop and customise Salesforce components in Apex, Lightning Web Components and Flows to support Conga functionality.
- Use Custom Metadata to keep the configuration behind document automation portable across environments.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document functional requirements.
- Test the solutions you build, covering document output, data accuracy and signature workflows.
- Deploy solutions to production and provide post-implementation support.
- Debug and resolve issues across templates, queries, integrations and Salesforce components.
- Ensure scalability, maintainability and Salesforce best practice in every part of the Salesforce and Conga integration.
Requirements
- At least five years of relevant experience, including four or more years of hands-on Salesforce development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Conga Composer in a Salesforce environment.
- Hands-on experience with Conga E-Signature and automated document signing workflows.
- Experience building and maintaining Conga templates and Conga queries.
- Proven expertise in Salesforce and Conga integration and configuration.
- Hands-on Salesforce development experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows and Custom Metadata.
- Familiarity with document generation workflows and wider business automation processes.
- Ability to gather and document functional requirements directly with business stakeholders.
- Experience with testing, deployment and post-implementation support on Salesforce.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills across configuration, code and integrations.
- Clear written and spoken communication, since the role works with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Ability to build for scalability and maintainability and to follow Salesforce best practice.
