Join MailerMen as a Data Engineer in Bangalore. You will build dependable data pipelines and data-processing systems that support product decisions and operational reporting. You should have roughly one year of practical experience and be comfortable working in a collaborative product team. This is a hybrid role anchored to our Bangalore office, with a mix of in-office and remote days.
Department: Engineering - Data Working hours: 10:00 AM–7:00 PM IST, Monday–Friday
Responsibilities
- Set up data validation and quality checks in pipelines.
- Write efficient SQL for data transformation and analysis.
- Integrate data from APIs, databases and application systems.
- Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Support analytics teams with curated, well-documented datasets.
- Document data workflows and technical processes.
- Design data models and maintain reliable datasets.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, IT, Mathematics or related field preferred.
- Good to have: Docker, Airflow, AWS, BigQuery, Kafka, dbt
