MailerMen is hiring a Generative AI / LLM Engineer for our Bangalore team. You will develop AI-powered product features using large language models, covering prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, evaluation, AI workflows and API integrations. We expect around two years of professional experience and the ability to work independently on well-scoped problems. The role is fully remote, with the Bangalore team as your home base for occasional meetups.
Department: Engineering - Generative AI Working hours: 10:00 AM–7:00 PM IST, Monday–Friday
Responsibilities
- Prototype agentic workflows for internal automation.
- Maintain prompt libraries and evaluation datasets.
- Integrate commercial and open-source model APIs.
- Build RAG pipelines using embeddings and vector databases.
- Develop LLM-powered features for web and business applications.
- Work with frontend and backend teams to ship AI features.
- Create AI agents and workflow automations where appropriate.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, AI, IT or related field preferred.
- Good to have: LangChain, RAG, Docker, LlamaIndex, Vector Databases, Azure OpenAI
