MailerMen is looking for a Data Engineer to join our growing Surat engineering group. You will build dependable data pipelines and data-processing systems that support product decisions and operational reporting. Freshers with strong fundamentals and hands-on project or internship experience are encouraged to apply. The position is onsite at our Surat office, offering close collaboration with the local team.
Department: Engineering - Data Working hours: 10:00 AM–7:00 PM IST, Monday–Friday
Responsibilities
- Document data workflows and technical processes.
- Integrate data from APIs, databases and application systems.
- Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Support analytics teams with curated, well-documented datasets.
- Write efficient SQL for data transformation and analysis.
- Design data models and maintain reliable datasets.
- Set up data validation and quality checks in pipelines.
- Learn team tools, coding standards and delivery processes with mentor support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, IT, Mathematics or related field preferred.
- Good to have: Airflow, Apache Spark, BigQuery, Great Expectations, Redshift, Docker
