We are seeking a Data Scientist at MailerMen (Surat). You will turn product and business data into useful insights and predictive models through exploratory analysis, statistics and machine learning. Freshers with strong fundamentals and hands-on project or internship experience are encouraged to apply. The role is fully remote, with the Surat team as your home base for occasional meetups.
Department: Data & Analytics Working hours: 10:00 AM–7:00 PM IST, Monday–Friday
Responsibilities
- Prototype models in notebooks and hand off for productionization.
- Document analytical methods, assumptions and results.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to productionize useful models.
- Create clear reports and visualizations for stakeholders.
- Build and evaluate statistical and machine learning models.
- Run experiment analysis and significance testing.
- Validate model performance and investigate data quality issues.
- Learn team tools, coding standards and delivery processes with mentor support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related field preferred.
- Good to have: Prophet, Tableau, Jupyter, Looker, Spark, Power BI
