MailerMen has an opening for a Data Scientist based out of Ahmedabad. You will turn product and business data into useful insights and predictive models through exploratory analysis, statistics and machine learning. You will start with guided tasks and gradually take ownership of features under senior mentorship. The role is fully remote, with the Ahmedabad team as your home base for occasional meetups.
Department: Data & Analytics Working hours: 10:00 AM–7:00 PM IST, Monday–Friday
Responsibilities
- Create clear reports and visualizations for stakeholders.
- Analyze structured datasets to identify trends and opportunities.
- Design metrics and dashboards for product teams.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to productionize useful models.
- Build and evaluate statistical and machine learning models.
- Present findings to non-technical stakeholders clearly.
- Validate model performance and investigate data quality issues.
- Learn team tools, coding standards and delivery processes with mentor support.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related field preferred.
- Good to have: scikit-learn, Airflow, LightGBM, Tableau, AWS, Spark
