Startups that hire through MailerMen pay for one thing above all: a film that convinces a comfortable engineer to leave a comfortable job.
You would join the employer brand pod for two months, cutting ninety second culture films for seed and Series A companies. Each project arrives as a half day shoot: office B-roll, three or four staff interviews and whatever the founder improvises on camera. Your job is to find the one honest sentence buried in forty minutes of interview and build everything else around it. Rough cut on day two, client review on day four, delivery on day six, then the next one starts.
Every company sounds different, so you cannot reuse a template and hope. A fintech in Koramangala and a hardware team in Whitefield need different pacing, different music and different amounts of silence. You will also handle client notes, which is a skill in itself, learning which feedback improves a film and which one you should politely push back on.
Two days a week in our Bengaluru office for reviews and ingest, the rest remote. The pace is fast and the deadlines are real, which is exactly why two months here teaches more than a semester of assignments.
MailerMen runs a verified job board covering startup and product roles across twelve markets, and takes on interns across engineering, data, design and marketing to build it.
